Emma A. Cox, EIT

Design Engineer

Emma is an Engineer-In-Training with the firm and is a licensed Engineer-In-Training in the State of Texas (73738). She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in May of 2021 with a 4.0 GPA. Emma has also passed her Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) examination. Once Emma meets the four-year active practice requirement in engineering work, she will obtain her Professional Engineer (PE) license. 

While studying at Texas A&M University, Emma interned with KPA, where she gained experience assisting and performing various civil engineering functions. Her engineering experiences include researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing quantity takeoffs, assisting with the design of utility projects, and preparing opinions of probable construction costs. She has also been exposed to construction plan reviews, working with AutoCAD, and participated in construction site visits, progress meetings, and field visits to obtain design data. Emma is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
