Rehabilitation of 1.5 MG South Standpipe
Project Description: This project includes the rehabilitation of the 1.5 MGD South Standpipe constructed in 1985. The rehabilitation project features repairs, modifications, and the replacement of the roof and support members, roof vents, interior, and exterior ladders, safety handrailing, complete coating removal and re-application of the interior and exterior surfaces, and the addition of a concrete splash pad with energy dissipators and rock riprap. KPA collaborated with HOT Inspection Services to develop technical specifications for the rehabilitation of the standpipe.
