Pepper Creek Elevated Storage Tank

Project Description: This project addressed the demand for a new 1 Million Gallon Elevated Storage Tank and the demolition of the existing Pepper Creek Tank. This project consists of elevated tank design, geotechnical investigations, including topographic surveys, environmental, cultural resources, and endangered species assessments. In addition, the proposal included surveying and design to extend the existing 12” Water Line up to 2,500 feet to support the new elevated tank. In conjunction with the new tank, KPA provided specifications for the demolition of the existing tank.

Scope of Services: Preliminary and final design, permits, preparation of plans, specifications, Bidding, Review of Bids and Recommendations to Award Contracts, and Construction Administration.

Southwest Bypass Waterline Improvements


Georgetown, TX


Project Description: The City of Georgetown wanted to provide additional water supply to the southwestern portion of the City.  This required a 24” Water Line, outlined in the City’s Water Master Plan, to be constructed on the newly finished Southwest Bypass Roadway.

The project consisted of furnishing installing approximately 4,275 linear feet of 24” Ductile Iron Pipe Water Line and appurtenances on the east side of Southwest Bypass from Wolf Ranch Parkway to Leander Road. The project also included the lowering of approximately 150 linear feet of the existing 24” Ductile Iron Pipe Water Line just west of the intersection of Wolf Ranch Parkway and Southwest Bypass to facilitate the future improvements of the Southwest Bypass Extension up to Hwy 29.

Scope of Services: Preliminary and final design, permits, preparation of plans, specifications, Bidding, Review of Bids and Recommendation to Award Contract and Construction Administration.

Ronald Reagan Water Line Improvements


Georgetown, TX


Project Description: The City of Georgetown wished to place a significant length of new waterline infrastructure in the northwest Georgetown area along Ronald Reagan Boulevard from F.M. 3405 to F.M. 2338 (Williams Drive).  This project was proposed and included the placement of approximately 21,000 linear feet of 30” diameter ductile iron waterline throughout the area.  The project also included a bored crossing at CR 289, as well as an open cut and replacement of driveways along the route. The project was completed in 2019 and included the removal of existing PRV in multiple areas.
