Ryan T. Oakes, EIT

Design Engineer

Ryan is a licensed Engineer-In-Training in the State of Texas (75719). He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in May of 2022. After passing his Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, Ryan passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) examination. Once Ryan meets the four-year civil engineering active practice requirement, he will obtain his Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Throughout his bachelor’s studies at Texas A&M University, Ryan interned with KPA and has experience assisting and performing various civil engineering functions. His engineering experience includes drainage designs, sizing calculations for sewer systems, quantity takeoffs, OPCs, and detention pond modeling. He is also experienced in researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, construction plan reviews, working with AutoCAD, construction site visits, progress meetings, and field visits to obtain design data. Ryan is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
