Technical Director
Askarali is the Technical Director of Water Resources and Hydrologic Engineering with the firm. He has extensive knowledge and experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, assessment, inspections, design, construction, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants. Askar also has comprehensive experience in environmental and natural resource management and planning, design and implementation of water efficiency and management technologies for agricultural water users and irrigation districts in numerous countries including Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Russia. He has over 6 years of experience as a research associate for the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at Texas A&M University which included teaching fluid mechanics and environmental engineering courses for undergraduate students.
Askarali received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Water Management and Hydrological Sciences in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2016. He is a licensed Engineer-In-Training in the State of Texas (71149). He is an active member of the American Water Works Association, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Biological and Agricultural Engineers and the U.S. Committee on Irrigation and Drainage. Askar also serves a Texas 4-H Water Ambassador which is a leadership program for high school students which focuses on water quality issues in Texas.
