Trae SuttonThe Citizen of the Year Award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the Belton community over the past year. Not only has Trae Sutton served recently as the 2010 Chairman of the Board for the Belton Chamber, he has been instrumental in many projects that have beautified and enhanced the City of Belton. Two major projects he is a part of are the Patriot Way Brick Walk and the Chamber’s Building Committee. Trae is an associate at Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP, was named the 2006 Young Engineer of the Year for the Central Texas Region by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, was the President of the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2007, and was named Engineer of the Year by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers in 2008. He also served as the Belton Lions Club Director in 2008 and 2009 and served as the 2009-2010 Belton Rotary Club President.
