Please join us as we congratulate Emma Cox, EIT, as he begins his tenure as the Secretary of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Central Texas Branch!

Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) represents more than 150,000 members of the civil engineering profession in 177 countries. The Central Texas Branch was founded in 1986 by the Texas Section of ASCE and is one of the largest sections in America, serving the interests of covering counties across Texas. The Central Texas Branch encompasses Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan Counties. ASCE is a leading provider of professional growth, advancing Civil Engineering technical specialties through dynamic continuing education programs. 

Emma was inducted as the Central Texas Branch Secretary in September 2022. As Secretary, Emma plays a vital role in committee correspondence, providing members with professional development opportunities, producing activity reports, representing the organization, generating meeting minutes, and promoting excellence in engineering.
