Progress Update on Phase II of the Kegley Road Improvement Project

KPA is pleased to share the recent progress on Phase II of the Kegley Road Improvements Project!
The new elevated bridge over Pepper Creek is complete! The Curb Inlets are in place, completing another drainage improvement phase! Additional storm sewer elements will be installed in the upcoming weeks, and roadway enhancements will continue.
Project Recap: Phase II of this project will widen the previous two-lane roadway into three lanes, add pedestrian improvements, and new utility developments. Following Phase II, KPA Engineers will complete Phases III and IV of the Kegley Road Improvements Project, extending the end of Phase II to the intersection of Charter Oak Drive. Improvements include expanded pavement sections with a continuous left-turn lane, pedestrian facilities, drainage conveyance, utilities, and another elevated bridge structure over Pepper Creek.
These improvements will provide an alternate route for traffic from IH-35 to the west side of town and will provide drivers and pedestrians with a safe and efficient commute on Kegley Road.
Scope of Services: Environmental, Geotechnical, and Archeological Assessments, Design Surveys, Structural Design, Final Design, Bidding Services, Construction Administration, and On-Site Representation.
