Progress on Temple’s Avenue C from Main Street to MLK Drive

KPA is working with the Temple Reinvestment Zone on Temple’s Avenue C from Main Street to MLK Drive. This project will bring a strong connection from Downtown Temple’s core into the Ferguson Park District.

The project will include new and enhanced pedestrian facilities, expanded right of ways, street lighting, extended sidewalks, and bike lanes. These infrastructure improvements will bring mobility and growth into our community and enhance the safety of pedestrians, bikers, and drivers.

The scope of work provided by KPA for the Avenue C from Main Street to MLK Drive project includes; field surveying, geotechnical investigations, environmental and archaeological investigations, planning and concept design studies, schematic design, and final design.
