Progress on Phase III of Waco’s Mill and Overlay Project

Progress is being made on Phase III of the Mill and Overlay project!
The City of Waco contracted KPA for Phase III of the project, which consists of drainage improvements, partial roadway reconstruction, and pedestrian enhancements. The project encompasses over 9.5 lane miles of city streets, including North Valley Mills Drive, 17th Street, 18th Street, Bosque Boulevard, Kendall Lane, Wood Avenue, and Clay Avenue.
The project includes new concrete curbs and gutters, pedestrian ramps, pedestrian barrier rails, driveway reconstruction, and new asphalt street overlays. These improvements will provide better storm drainage, increase pedestrians’ safety, and provide travelers with a well-maintained and enjoyable commute.
