Belton, TX
Project Description: The Sparta Road Reconstruction Project was a multifaceted roadway rehabilitation project that included intersection improvements at Industrial Park Road at Main Street, intersection realignment and traffic signal modification improvements at West 9th Avenue and Main Street; geometric modifications and traffic signal modifications for vehicles and pedestrians at the intersection of Sparta Road and Loop 121 and the installation of a roundabout at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Sparta Road.
The reason for the multiple locations was to adequately address traffic issues that affected the overall patterns and safety in the general area leading to Sparta Road and the efficient construction of the Sparta Road work tasks. Street reconstruction and realignment construction were accomplished in order to improve traffic flow.
