Project Description: A 25-acre detention pond, which will accommodate 450 acres of future development, was constructed in the City’s Railroad Park. The project included 375,000 cubic yards of excavation; 5,000 cubic yards of fill and
17,100 cubic yards of compacted select fill; 5,300 square yards of 6-inch flex base access road; 1,400 linear feet of 4-8’x4′ reinforced concrete box culverts with headwalls and 180 linear feet 2-5’x4′ reinforced concrete box culverts with headwalls.
The project was completed in June 2009 by Ranger Excavating, LP of Austin, Texas.
Scope of Services: Final Design (Plans and Specifications), Surveying, Permitting, Easement Preparation, Opinion of Probable Cost, Bidding, Review of Bids and Recommendation to Award Contract, On-Site Representation and Construction Administration.
