Nolanville Park Connectivity
Nolanville, TX
Project Description: As a mission to provide a sense of self within neighborhoods in Nolanville, the City has remained focused on infrastructure enhancements that provide sustainability and efficiency to the community.
The Nolanville Park Connectivity project eliminates the gaps from parks to neighboring communities, schools, and city services while encouraging land use patterns that promote shorter trip lengths by walking and biking.
With community connectivity in mind, this project includes rehabilitation of a portion of Avenue H and Mesquite Street, shared-use paths, dedicated bike lanes, ADA-compliant sidewalk connections, covered bus stops and neighborhood mailbox unit facilities, and drainage improvements. Additional project elements, such as landscaping and neighborhood entry signage, were provided in collaboration with Covey Planning + Landscape Architecture.
