Loop 121 Utility Relocations
Project Description: In association with the widening of Loop 121 by TxDOT, this project entailed relocating existing water, storm drainage, and wastewater lines. The project was designed with an aggressive schedule to meet TxDOT’s timeline.
This project expanded Loop 121 from FM 439 (north) to I-14 (south) and included removing and replacing waterlines, force mains, and wastewater lines that conflicted with the proposed road widening and related stormwater pipes. The project included multiple waterlines crossing in encasement pipe installed by bore under Loop 121. Additional project elements consisted of a new stormwater pipe and removing and relocating fire hydrants.
Scope Of Services: Final Design, Design Surveys, TxDOT Coordination, TxDOT Utility Permitting, and Bidding Services.
