Lake Halbert Water Treatment Plant Improvements
Project Description: This project includes expansion of the treated water components (clearwell and high service pump station) to enhance operations for the existing 4.0MGD Treatment Plant, as well as the design of a new 2.0 MG Clearwell, providing an ample supply of clean water while meeting the demands of current and future water demands. Additional project elements include a Pump Station, High Service Pumps, and Transfer Pumps designed to service the new Clearwell by distributing high volumes of treated water.
To ensure that the new Clearwell and Pump Station can accommodate the future expansion of the existing treatment plant, KPA prepared a Hydraulic Profile analysis through the existing water treatment plant to establish the elevations of the new structures. The hydraulic profile will be utilized when designing the future expansion of the Treatment Plant.
Scope of Services: Preliminary and Final Civil Design, Final Electrical Design, Permitting and Plan Approval, Bidding Services, and Construction Administration.
Construction Cost: $12 Million
