Dutton Avenue Roadway & Utility Improvements

Waco, TX

Project Description: In December 2019, KPA was contracted by the City of Waco to design and build a replacement water and wastewater infrastructure and street point repairs on Dutton Avenue from 11th Street to 26th Street. Site topography and existing improvement field surveys began in December 2019.

KPA has worked with The City of Waco to complete sidewalks, driveways, curb, gutter, and paving from 18th St. to 26th St., along with the installation of a water line to 15th St. Two pedestrian ramps have been installed at 15th St. New wastewater and water infrastructures have been installed from 11th St. to 17th S. These improvements will increase access to resources in the community: more water access; safer, pedestrian-friendly pathways; faster roadways that will get drivers where they need to go as quickly and safely as possible.

Scope of Services: Final design, including Management of Structural and Electrical Engineering Sub-Consultants. KPA provided Design Surveys, Coordination with TxDOT and FHA throughout the Design and Bidding phase, and Construction Administration.

Construction Cost: $5,200,00
