Blackland Road Extension & Utility Improvements | City of Temple

Project Description: This City of Temple, Texas project features the extension of Blackland Road and will include the construction of a four-lane divided roadway, installing water and wastewater utilities, storm drainage, landscaping, and a new sidewalk along the corridor. Blackland Road will extend from Little River Road to State Highway 95 and include a crossing at Knob Creek. The Blackland Road extension will tie into future improvements of Little River Road and State Highway 95.
In addition to improved water and wastewater utilities the Blackland Road extension will provide better vehicular and pedestrian mobility for the South East portion of Temple, Texas
Scope of Services: Preliminary Design, Final Design, Utility Improvements, Wastewater Designs, Surveying, Geotechnical, Environmental Services, OPC’s, Bidding, Review of Bids, and Recommendation to Award Contract, On-Site Representation and Construction Administration.
Construction Cost: $5,400,000
