2021 Street & Utility Improvements

Project Description: The 2021 Street & Utility Improvements consist of two projects, 24th and Main Wastewater Improvements and McFarland Estates Street and Utility Improvements.

The 24th and Main wastewater improvements include installing a new wastewater line under Main Street (FM 317) by bore, new manholes, connection to the existing wastewater facilities, replacement of pavement and sidewalk, erosion control, and revegetation.

Utility improvements in McFarland Estates consist of installing new waterlines along Boyles, Greenway, and Burnet Streets. The project also includes replacing the existing wastewater line on W. 3rd Avenue and Smith Street. Several street improvements will be conducted for this portion of the project, including cement stabilization, asphalt milling, asphalt overlay, and ribbon curb installations.

Scope of Services: Final Design, Design Surveys, Geotechnical Investigations, Bid Phase Services, TxDOT Permitting, and Construction Administration.

Construction Cost: $1.6 Million
