2021 Mill and Overlay, Phase III

Project Description: The City of Waco contracted KPA for Phase III of the 2021 Mill and Overlay project, which consists of drainage improvements, partial roadway reconstruction, and pedestrian enhancements. The project encompasses over 9.5 lane miles of city streets, including North Valley Mills Drive, 17th Street, 18th Street, Bosque Boulevard, Kendall Lane, Wood Avenue, and Clay Avenue.

The project includes new concrete curbs and gutters, pedestrian ramps, pedestrian barrier rails, driveway reconstruction, and new asphalt street overlays. These improvements will provide better storm drainage, increase pedestrians’ safety, and provide travelers with a well-maintained and enjoyable commute.

Scope of Services: Final Design, Design Surveys, Utility Coordination, Bidding Services, and Construction Administration.

Construction Cost: $3 Million
