Lorena Ortiz-Duque

Lorena is an Environmental Professional with the firm and has been practicing Environmental Project Management since 2019. Lorena joins us from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality where she held the role of an Environmental Permit Specialist II. Lorena is experienced in preparing industrial TPDES wastewater permits consistent with applicable state and federal rules, policies, and guidelines. Her additional experience includes reviewing applications for aquaculture general permits and presenting her concerns towards permits to applicants, agency staff, the public, and the regulated community.

Lorena graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019 with a Master of Science Degree in Water Management and Hydrological Science. She is certified in ArcGIS, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and Operation of Water Purification Systems.
