KPA Welcomes Environmental Scientist, Lorena Ortiz Duque

KPA is pleased to welcome Environmental Scientist, Lorena Ortiz Duque to our team! 

Lorena graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science Degree in Water Management and Hydrological Science in 2019. Lorena worked as an environmental intern at Tarrant Regional Water District during her college studies. Her internship involved educating the community about watershed programs and resource protection practices. 

Following her Master of Science, Lorena began working as an Environmental Permit Specialist I with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and was later promoted to an Environmental Permit Specialist II. She is also certified in ArcGIS, NPDES, and Operation of Water Purification Systems. 

Lorena is a great addition to our team!
