Jake Blair, EIT was inducted as the 2017-2018 President of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers Central Texas Chapter at its May 18, 2017 meeting. He has been an officer of the Central Texas Chapter since he first joined KPA Engineers in early 2013.
Texas Society of Professional Engineers is a state branch of the National Society of Professional Engineers organized to serve the interests of the individual engineers in the state of Texas. Central Texas Chapter is made up of Professional Engineers from the local area whose wish is to promote and enhance the profession and licensed practice of engineering in Central Texas. As president, Jake represents chapter membership and is responsible for coordination of chapter activities including monthly presentations for members to enhance professional practice, outreach and support programs for students through annual scholarships and TSPE participation in STEM activities such as the Mathcounts Competition and Waco STEAM day.
