Ginger R. Tolbert, PE

Celebrating 25 Years

Please join us as we celebrate Ginger Tolbert, PE, on her 25th anniversary with KPA Engineers!

Ginger started as an intern with the firm from 1993-1994 and continues to be an integral part of the team. With over 28 years of experience in civil engineering, she has made significant contributions to KPA and the civil engineering industry.

Ginger was inspired to pursue civil engineering by her mother’s work at TxDOT and encouragement from her cousin, Clay Roming, founder of Roming & Porter, now known as KPA Engineers. Upon graduating from Texas A&M University in 1995, she worked as the Assistant County Engineer for McLennan County before returning to KPA in 1998. In recognition of her remarkable contributions and leadership at KPA, Ginger was named a firm Partner in 2014.

In the late 1990s, Ginger was an engineer on the Water Supply System project for the Schertz Seguin Local Government Corporation. This $40 million project significantly contributed to the local community by providing more than 40 miles of water transmission lines, wells, pump stations, storage, and treatment facilities. Additionally, at the beginning of her career, Ginger modeled the water systems for the cities of Temple and Belton master plans and continues to update their master plans, now providing her expertise as the Project Manager.

Ginger’s commitment to improving local communities is apparent throughout her work, volunteering initiatives, and strong working relationships with community leaders and organizations. She is a passionate leader at KPA, providing mentorship and encouragement to everyone on our team. Her devotion to her profession is mirrored by her dedication as a mother and wife. She takes great pride in her family and the achievements of her two sons, Connor and Colby. Following in their parent’s footsteps to become Aggies, Connor has already graduated from Texas A&M University and started his engineering career, and Colby is currently in his first year at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.

KPA Engineers congratulates Ginger Tolbert on her 25 years of service to the firm and the industry. Her dedication and expertise have significantly contributed to the success of KPA and the local communities we serve.
