Georgetown’s South East Inner Loop – FM 1460 to Austin Ave

This project is the reconstruction and widening of the SE Inner Loop roadway and installation of a 10-foot hike and bike trail from F.M. 1460 to South Austin Avenue in Georgetown, Texas.

The roadway project begins near the intersection of the existing SE Inner Loop at F.M. 1460 intersection and terminates at the South Austin Avenue and SE Inner Loop intersection. The 10-foot hike and bike trail addition will begin at the intersection of the SE Inner Loop and F.M. 1460 and run parallel to SE Inner Loop roadway and terminate at South Austin Avenue road.

The existing roadway is a two-lane rural section roadway with no pedestrian or bicycle facilities. The proposed project will provide additional roadway capacity to promote the movement of traffic thru the area, as well as, supporting future commercial developments along this corridor.  The 10-foot hike and bike trail will provide safe pedestrian and bicycle movement within this corridor as well.
