On August 29th – 31st, 2018, R. David Patrick, PE, Alvin R. Sutton, III, PE, John A. Simcik, PE, Wm. Mack Parker, PE, Michael C. Newman, PE and Gail M. Lollis, PE attended the Texas Floodplain Management Association’s (TFMA) Fall Conference in San Antonio, Texas. TFMA is an organization of professionals involved in floodplain management, flood hazard mitigation, Nation Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), flood preparedness, potential flood awareness, flood early warning and disaster recover. The Conference provided workshops, field trips, conference sessions and technical seminars for continued education credits/certification requirements. Mr. Patrick, Mr. Sutton, Mr. Simcik, Mr. Parker, Mr. Newman and Mrs. Lollis are Certified Floodplain Manager’s (CFM).
