Completion of Georgetown’s 17th Street Sidewalk Improvements
Georgetown, TX
Whether it’s taking the dog for a walk or just walking to enjoy a beautiful day, residents now have an increased sense of safety with the addition of a 6-foot sidewalk on 17th Street, extending from Forest Street to Railroad Avenue. Two bus stop pads with shelter and signage were also included in this project, allowing patrons to be protected from any harsh weather that may come as they wait. This project also included the installation of pedestrian ramps, crosswalks, and curb and gutter. These sidewalk improvements extend an estimated 1,300 feet.
