Progress on the 4th Street & 1st Street Parking Garages

As Downtown Temple continues to grow, efforts to expand parking are underway! The new parking developments will support a convenient and dynamic Downtown experience for residents and visitors. One of the two new parking garages will be located at 4^th Street near the Hawn Hotel site, Arcadia and Sears Building. The second parking garage will be located at South 1^st Street and Avenue A. The 1st and 4th Street Parking Garages will add over 600 parking spaces to the Downtown District and are expected to be complete in the Fall of 2023

4^th Street Parking Garage: This new parking garage will contain approximately 415 parking spaces and additional retail areas to accommodate growth in the surrounding Downtown areas. Pedestrian movement between levels is accommodated by an elevator and an open staircase. Vehicular movement between levels is conducted by a parking ramp, with an entry and exit point at the ground level.

4^th Street Parking Garage Rendering:

South 1^st and Avenue A Parking Garage: This garage will contain approximately 235 parking spaces and provide public parking relief near employment buildings and public activity centers.
