Water Transmission Main – Bluebonnet Water Supply Corporation | City of Moffat

Project Description: A feasibility study for the replacement of the Corporation’s existing transmission was completed in July 2011.  The study included evaluation of capacities of system components, right of way requirements, phasing and opinions of probable cost.

Final Design of Phase I was completed in 2012 and includes replacement of approximately 4 miles of 24” Water Line.  Easements were obtained in the Fall of 2012 and funding from the Texas Water Development Board was released in April 2013 for the construction of the project.

Scope of Services:   Feasibility Study, coordination with Texas Water Development Board, preparation of plans, specifications, and easement documents, Bidding, Review of Bids, and Recommendation to Award Contract and Construction Administration.

Construction Cost: $3.5 million
