Design Engineer

Sam is an Engineer-in-Training with the firm. His engineering experience includes design, preparation of construction plans and specifications, construction administration for roadways, pedestrian facilities, drainage systems, water distribution and pump stations, and wastewater collection systems including coordination of environmental and archeological studies and various permitting requirements for projects. Sam’s current focus is on hydraulic and hydrologic modeling. He has worked with many communities surrounding Central Texas while assisting the project engineers and managers within the firm.

Mr. Blumenthal graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in May of 2016. Sam was also an intern with the firm and joined KPA full-time following graduation. He is a licensed Engineer-In-Training in the State of Texas (54643) and, having already passed the PE exam, has only one year of requisite experience remaining before he may apply for professional licensure. He is also active in the American Society of Civil Engineers and Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
