Progress on North 31st Street Project

KPA is pleased to share the recent progress on the North 31st Street Project!

North 31st Street has been opened from Calhoun Avenue to TISD High School and the roundabout is completed and functioning well!

Construction has now begun on the IH-35 connector roadway, as well as Bray Street.

Recall, this project on North 31^st Street connects to a realigned Jack White Street and includes a roundabout that creates a single entrance into Temple High School and a connection to the IH-35 Frontage Road.

The roundabout will improve traffic flow, pedestrian movement, and enhance the image of the city from IH-35. It is also set to feature a large statue of the Temple High School “Wildcat” mascot!
