Downtown Belton can get very busy with residents exploring all of the shops and restaurants the city has to offer. We understand that residents shouldn’t have to worry about their safety, and with the recent North East Street Improvements, pedestrians and drivers can enjoy the area with an increased sense of security. This project included a pedestrian and traffic safety plan, 600 square yards of 5-inch deep sidewalks, and eight pedestrian ramps with rails, all of which will improve the wellbeing of walkers. Pictured, you can see the smooth results of the newly installed fog seal parking lot and 1,850 square yards of HMAC pavement that were also included in this project.
